Easter Basket Ideas for Boys
Easter is around the corner and while we like to focus on the resurrection of our Savior, getting the kids Easter baskets is so fun. I always like to curate items that are entertaining, but also practical and useful for the spring/summer season ahead. Here’s a glimpse of some items I plan to put in their baskets, along with a few tried and true items that would be great ideas. For reference, my boys are soon to be 7 and 10!
Five Crowns card game. Perfect for playing after dinner or with a small group during Easter. Like Phase 10 but takes less time. So fun!
Wiffle balls (or any sports balls). Boys love to be outside and playing and wiffle balls are perfect as a baseball alternative so they don’t travel as far out of the yard if they hit a good one!
Personalized book (use code THESTYLEFILESBLOG for discount!). These are SO cute and such lovely keepsakes too. You personalize your child’s name, appearance, dedication page, etc. They have tons of options for every occasion and make great gifts too!
Swim trunks. Target had a sale recently so I stocked up on a pair of trunks for each boy in their next size up. (Remember- go for bright colors as they are easily spotted in the water.)
Action Bible. A wonderful Easter gift for a boy. Action and illustrations galore in this Bible…my kids love it.
Eye black. Baseball season is upon us so stocking up on some accessories for the sport (or whatever activities your kids are into really. It’s the perfect way to gift them practical things they will need when the season starts!)
Dude Perfect surprise ball. I found this on clearance at Walmart but you can get most anywhere. My kids are obsessed with Dude Perfect so this will be great.
Snack boxes. Perfect for baseball season around the corner. I’m determined to bring healthy options vs. hitting the concession stands for all our games, and this will be a fun, practical way to have them eating well! Comes in several colors, and I got a second option too.
Skout bars (use code STYLEFILESVALERIE for 20% discount). Clean, organic ingredients that don’t melt or crumble and DELISH for kids and adults! Comes in a TON of flavors. Perfect for those snack boxes mentioned above and a great alternative to candy with added sugars and dyes.
Handwriting line stamp. Got this for my younger son as he works on his letters, spelling words, etc. He LOVES to make the lines and it makes learning fun!
Build sets. I found at Aldi for under 15 bucks, my boys love to build. Aldi recently had these (semi truck and a store front) and I got one for each boy. Looks like they might be compatible with Legos too!
Socks. Easter baskets in our house always include socks (or underwear) or both. It’s a tradition that my husband has done when he was little, and we still do as adults! These ankle length socks are on clearance too!
