Books I’ve Read in 2025

Today’s post is for the books that I read this year. While I am not an avid reader, I did set a goal like I did last year to read a minimum of 1 book per month. Simple & attainable. While I didn’t read as many books as last year, I did end up reading 19 books which I am really proud of!

This goal helped me be more aware and intentional of how I spend my time. Rather than scrolling mindlessly on my phone, I would try to consciously pick up a book. I’d pack it along in the car while I was waiting at school drop off. I’d read a chapter to relax before I went to sleep. All these acts really helped develop a good habit!

Towards the end of the year, I also found a local book club that helped me stay motivated during the busy end of the year and read some books I never would have picked up before! And the group encouraged me to use Goodreads, which is amazing. It helps me track what I was reading (I previous kept a paper list), as well as see what my friends are reading and track books that I want to read…game changer!

I love to balance reading fiction and nonfiction, though surprisingly a read more fiction this year (though I’d say I listened to far more nonfiction podcasts, so it balanced out.)

So let's look back to 2025 where I'll share with you all the books that I read…they were all winners in their own unique way. I learned a lot, was entertained, and even cried a few times. Check it out….

That’s it! That is my list of the books that I have read this year. It has been a great year of books for me and I’m really excited to keep reading. Hopefully, this gives you something really good to read whether it’s a book where you learn something, or just a good story where you escape and can’t stop turning the pages.
